Cokes’ not a happy bunny today, back to the vets to have her “second mouth” checked over.
Wearing a cone for a week is no fun, neither is having to wear it for another week.
The hole in the side of her head is large enough to fit her whole back paw inside, which she will invariably do, if we dare to leave her cone off for longer than 30 seconds.
“It’s healing well!” says the vet.
Really? You can fit a child’s hand in there!
Another week of anti-biotics at a cost of £48, robbing dogs (no pun intended)
The biggest struggle was getting Cokes into the car and then into the vets. Not happy at all, very stressed and who can blame her, last time they traumatised her so much, it was three days before she stopped panting.
We don’t do stress here, should be a window sticker.
Other events, the Sony camcorder footage I took over the summer (read: one week) which started downloading to my old PC as a MTS file, will not upload to Resolve, my choice of editing software.
I’ve renamed the files but still no joy. FFmpeg seems to be the best converter for files, but in true geek style, the installation and use of the program is almost impossible.
Several different ways of uploading it, installing it and using it are abound on the internet, none of which I can understand.
I think I’ll have to resort to playing the clips back on screen and recording an MP4 file on my DSLR of it, then downloading them all and I should then be able to edit.
As per, geeks making a simple job ten times harder than it needs to be.
Bring back the Commodore 64 and it’s basic for programming!
“Make it simpler!” should be a line that all businesses adopt, but that would make them transparent and cheaper and there’s no chance of that is there!
