“You should put things away when you’ve finished with them!”
A common phrase, thrown at me quite often.
However, the house is currently being turned upside down, for two tap spanners, that were last used just three weeks ago, when new bath taps were fixed in.
Not one word, as the incoming decorators, read: the better half, have moved them to get in and paint, paper, etc.
Now the matching sink taps that go with the decor and the new bath taps, cannot be fitted because someone whom shall remain nameless, has moved the spanners to a safe place, where not only is the safe place known to the person moving them, but now that they’ve forgotten where the actual safe place is/was, everything else in three rooms is being turned upside down trying to rediscover the said, “Safe place”
