Scruples… get some!

I don’t know how some people can be so numb and are not aware of etiquette (for want of a better term) or basic decency.

A house I walk past regularly, which has for a long time, been average run of the mill and looking a bit dreary, but in a nice area, has recently been up for sale.
Judging by the physical state of the house, overgrown front garden, in need of a bit of tlc and the fact it’s been on the market for a while, lead me to believe that someone’s relative had moved out (complete guesswork on my part).

So recently the for sale signs had vanished and not a sign of any clean up or tidying happened.

Until this week, when a skip has now appeared on the front drive.
Still not seen anybody working on the house or garden though.
The skip is full, there are old toys at the top of it as it’s now full.

As I returned on my journey, I took note of the old plastic toys being thrown, there’s also a table, some old chairs, etc.
Obviously someone’s clearing it all out, ready for maintenance perhaps?
As I moved past, I noticed that in the top of the skip, to the sides are a few framed, family photographs!
On closer inspection, there were a number of family photographs.

I finds this absolutely deplorable, how someone can throw away memories or even worse, just sell the house and not bother to save these few memories of a beloved family member!
What kind of absolute ghouls are allowing this to happen?

Along the same lines, I came across a couple of videos on youtube, made by people who openly break into (because that’s what they are doing) “abandoned houses” and go through personal belongings of people whom have obviously passed on, listing in detail the whereabouts of the house, displaying all their possessions to everyone with a computer!

Not a single scruple do they have, they don’t seem to care one jot!
This is somebodies home, someone’s memories, a person’s belongings.
What right have you to invade their personal space, their home?
Not one!
