I never used to read, far too busy.
Lately I’ve been reading more, factual books, reference books, etc.
I am currently re-reading, “Wasting police time” by PC David Copperfield.
It’s an excellent, factual book, by obviously not PC David Copperfield, which is an alias.
The book covers aspects of policing, written by a real PC, with good humour and questioning what is really going on. It’s more of a blog in a book. The excerpts come from “A copper’s blog” website, it may still exist, I don’t know.
Now the real PC David Copperfield’s identity is known and he has changed his country of work, his insightful writings are no more.
I’ve just ordered a second hand copy of “Wasting more police time” a follow-up to the original, put out by the same publisher.
If it’s half as good as the original, it will be a good read.
